The department of Media and Cultural Studies presents The Ghosts of Adelanto & The Rise of Abolish ICE. Amid rising immigrant detention and deportation, we journey California’s largest immigrant prison to encounter the Ghosts of Adelanto, which intertwines stories of family separation, haunting and resilience, and student activists who have forged a movement to abolish ICE.
