Join us in this 4-part, introductory series to learn about Gradescope and the ways it can help make grading and providing feedback more efficient. The series will start with sample assignments drawn from the humanities to showcase the grading and management benefits of Gradescope. The hands-on components allow instructors from both the humanities and STEM to actively engage with the software.

Receive Zoom and location details upon registration.

Learn how to:

Use a variety of assessment tools, including scantron exams, fill in the blank, short paragraph answer formats and more.
Scan or upload the entire submission set in one streamlined action, or have your students submit them directly.
Create a living rubric to eliminate repeated actions and normalize scores across different graders.
Easily grade lengthy hand-written assignments
Use the quick, flexible grading and easy customization for accommodating individual students.
Automatically sort and organize students' work.
Take advantage of enhanced analytics help instructors to understand how well the questions connected with the students

PART 2: “GRADESCOPE DEVELOPMENT”

Description: Get some hands-on practice using Gradescope and learn how to work effectively with Gradescope. Bring an assignment or exam that you’d like to use with Gradescope in the next quarter to get an inside look at how this tool can work for you, pressure free. Lunch provided for in-person attendance.

PART 3: “GRADESCOPE OUTREACH AND CONNECTION”

Description: Faculty-led lightning rounds to show off your skills and help your colleagues to also use Gradescope. Lunch provided for in-person attendance.
