Research: Innovation in professional development programs for educators, service pathways for autistic youth and their families in community and school settings, and postsecondary outcomes for neurodiverse students

Suneal Kolluri
Assistant Professor in the School of Teacher Education at San Diego State University
Research: Sociology of education, examining the ways in which pedagogies and school policies can expand postsecondary opportunities and elevate efforts for liberation in marginalized communities

Guillermo Ortega
Postdoctoral Fellow at Iowa State University and incoming Assistant Professor at Idaho State University
Research: Intercollegiate Athletics, College Athletes, Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Latina/o/x students, Qualitative and Quantitative Methods

Sasha M. Zeedyk
Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Studies at California State University, Fullerton
Research: Individuals with autism, specifically looking at their transition from adolescence into adulthood and college participation

GSOE’s Professional Development Series is designed to provide support and tools to help GSOE students prepare and succeed in their chosen career. A mix of faculty, post-docs, administrators, and professionals will lead these panel discussions and learning sessions
