Highlander Abroad Fund Proposal Submission is now open for the 2024-2025 academic year! Share your ideas to support Highlanders' global dreams by submitting your proposal before May 10, 2024. Selected proposals will be notified in the first week of June.

The Highlander Abroad Referendum Fee aims to enhance the University of California, Riverside's undergraduate students' experiences by:

• Supporting engaging and high-quality education abroad programming
• Offering culturally relevant domestic programs for students preferring to stay in the US
• Assisting students with travel resources like airfare and accommodations
• Backing events like Worldfest Education Abroad Fair and Passport Fair
• Facilitating peer mentoring and education programs
• Funding marketing materials that align with the Education Abroad Office's rebranding and support services
• Supporting cultural awareness and adaptation programs as campus service costs rise.
