 tracks is a collection of electronic music pieces composed by UCR undergra
 duate and graduate composers. Each work is inspired by an image or group o
 f images taken from the Lost in the Wilderness: Ansel Adams in the 1960s a
 nd Shadow Archive: Meggan Gould exhibits at the California Museum of Photo
 graphy. While each student’s approach varies\, there is a common theme o
 f unearthing an implied narrative from each photo. Using a mixture of musi
 que concrète\, collage\, and contemporary electronic synthesis techniques
 \, each work attempts to sonically embody the images while leaving space f
 or the listener to construct their own viewpoint.\n\n \n\nMusic pieces wil
 l be accessible in the 2nd and 3rd floor California Museum of Photography 
 galleries via QR code and online.\n\n \n\nImagined Soundtracks is organize
