What is survey methodology?
Survey Methodology is an interdisciplinary field applying insights from Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction and Sociology among other fields to the measurement of public opinion, voter preference, consumer satisfaction, consumer sentiment, public health, unemployment, and so on. The Michigan Program in Survey Methodology (MPSM) offers MS and PhD degrees that emphasize either the statistical, social or data science aspects of the field.
