Want Real-World Startup Experience & a Shot at $1,000? Join us for our Innovation Sprint in a fast, focused, one-week collaboration that pairs startups with interdisciplinary teams of UCR students. No prior experience required. Open to all undergraduate and graduate students from every major.

How it Works

You’ll work in a small team to:

• Explore a real business challenge
• Conduct research and ideation
• Develop and test solutions

• Pitch your team ideas to win:

  $1,000 1st Place, $600 2nd Place, $400 3rd Place

Innovation Sprint Schedule

• 2/9 9AM - 1PM: Kickoff + challenge briefing + topic selection
• 2/24 4PM: Final presentation + deliverables

To be eligible for prizes, students are required to participate in a minimum of (1) hour of team coworking. Students may work at Riverside ExCITE Tuesday or Thursday 9am to 1pm.
