Inolvidable is a bilingual musical coming-of-age dramady about two young queer women, Jeni and Maria José, who try finding their identity in the midst of family dysfunctionality, past relationships, and evolving community through Juan Gabriel’s iconic music and Juanga himself, appearing as their guardian angel.
Jeni’s world gets turned upside down when her estranged mother, Diana, comes back into her life. Trying to reconcile herself with lost time and to seek artistic freedom, Jeni leaves Tia Celia heartbroken and with an empty home. At the same time, Maria José finds herself out of her comfort zone when sneaking into a gay bar, el Noa Noa, after an argument with her boyfriend of four years, Andres. Here, Jeni and Maria José meet for the first time and embark on a challenging relationship as they both face hardships that keep them from developing their new feelings for one another.
