DESCRIPTION:UC Riverside Department of Music presents:\n\n“Beats\, Circuits
 \, and Beyond”\n\nA Solo Set by Jesse Justice\, LA Musician\n\nLos Angeles–
 based musician Jesse Justice brings his modular synth setup to the Florence
  Bayz Music Series for an afternoon of experimental sound and improvisation
 . Justice first made his name in LA as a beatmaker before turning toward th
 e Rhodes piano and composing in various jazz styles. As a member of the ele
 ctronic jazz trio Human Error Club and the collectives Preference Records a
 nd The Village\, he has co-produced projects spanning neo-soul\, hip hop\, 
 and exploratory jazz. His current solo practice focuses on the textures of 
 modular synthesis\, using an amalgamation of prepared and improvised techni
 ques. In this performance\, Justice invites listeners into a sonic landscap
 e where circuitry\, improvisation\, and collective histories of experimenta
 l sound converge.\n\n \n\nPart of the 2025-2026 Florence Bayz Music Series\
 n\nThe Florence Bayz Music Series offers online concerts\, lectures\, and p
 resentations of academic research by Department of Music faculty\, postdoct
 oral researchers\, students\, and international guest artists and scholars.
