About this Event
Whether evoking musical images of centuries past or conjuring up new ideas about what classical vocal music can be, composers of the 21st century push the boundaries of vocal and musical expression even farther than their historical predecessors, taking the classical singing voice to new, exciting extremes. Entirely music by living composers, “Ashes to Dreams” is a program of works for soprano and piano that is not confined to the pre-existing limits of possibility.
