Deborah Wong, UCR professor of music, hosts "Gold Mountain," a weekly radio show on KUCR 88.3FM, Every Monday from 3-5 p.m. Wong features music with a social justice spin. 

This Monday, Nov. 7 — the day before Election Day — Wong will feature two hours of music about democracy, voting, elections, conspiracies, values, resistance, questions, and above all, ideas about the United States.

"I think the show will inspire and provoke listeners to think about their place in participatory democracy," Wong said. "The show is an important part of my public-facing work as an ethnomusicologist, and I think this particular show exemplifies UCR’s commitment to CHANGE THINGS through civic participation."
