Please join UCR’s Inland Empire Labor and Community Center and the Latino and Latin American Studies Research Center on April 25th from 6:00-8:00 PM at UDW Riverside, 1445 Spruce St, Riverside, CA 92507. This community event will bring together students, workers, and community members to celebrate Latino labor activism’s role in the Inland Empire as we prepare for International Workers' Day (May Day). Hear from local union leaders on a panel that will connect immediate workplace struggles with the radical potential of Latino labor organizing in the IE. Food & beverages will be provided!
Be part of the discussion on current labor organizing, environmental health, and the crucial role of Latinos in these movements.
