In collaboration with Marina Eskander, CEO and Co-Founder of Rooted Resolutions, this workshop will focus on the adjustment LGBTQ students need to learn about life after college in order to be successful. We will discuss coming out in the workplace, your LGBTQ resume vs your “other" resume, and a number of other topics. In addition, we can discuss the anxiety related to graduating, maintaining healthy friendships/mentorships after graduation, and transitioning to a non-academic life, while preparing for a career.
About Rooted Resolutions In 2013, co-founders Marina Eskander and Diana Mauricio began their journey supporting individuals and small businesses with diversity and equity training, branding, marketing, sales growth, and talent acquisition. Rooted Resolutions was created as a means to provide a comprehensive tool and resource hub to help small- or large-scale businesses become the best versions of their mission, vision, and goals. Marina and Diana bring 20+ years of experience in program management, business development, sales, digital marketing, graphic design, and software development.
