Join us in conversation with Bernard Gordillo Brockmann, a native of Nicaragua, a Scholar-in-Residence at the University of California Institute for Mexico and the United States (UC MEXUS), and a Research Associate at the Center for Iberian and Latin American Music (CILAM). He holds a Ph.D. in Music from the University of California, Riverside. He is currently working on a book about music, culture, and U.S. intervention in Nicaragua.
