The Inland Empire Electric Vehicle Association, UC Riverside's Office of Sustainability, EVHybridNoire and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. present Riverside EV Deep Drive, a National Drive Electric Week event, on Sat., Oct. 1, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at UC Riverside Parking Lot 30. The free public event will feature electric vehicle test-drives and rides with a dozen models, booths and demonstrations illuminating a range of environmental choices, and the chance to learn about EVs from long-time owners without sales pressure. It will be one of some 250 similar NDEW events from coast to coast put on largely by volunteers who seek to accelerate EV adoption.
