Neuroscience - Masterminds - Kids
June 22, July 27
Tuesday, 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

For details contact: carl.dugdale@ucr.edu.

Masterminds is a Neuroscience event for kids aged 5-10 instructed by the UCR Neuroscience Outreach Team. Discover the exciting world of the brain, spinal cord, neurons, and the senses. We explore experiments, activities, and games to help you learn about the nervous system. This session is Brain Beginnings: The Development of our Brains. We might have big brains, but they all started small. What happens in our head as our brains get older and grow up? In this session, we look at the brain from the beginning and explore the neuroscience of brain development. We place emphasis on essential skill development in our interactions with the kids with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions.
