Open to all ages, from 15 to 150 years old! Lose yourself in the peaceful silence of the ocean, explore new sights, and make new friends and dive buddies! Includes pre-class e-learning course, dive logbook app, classroom review sessions, pool sessions, 3 boat dives at Catalina Island, a beach dive, and gear. Transportation is not included, but carpooling is encouraged. You must be able to attend all sessions to sign up for this certification. A 200m swim and a ten minute treading water or float test will be given during the class. Course cost is $515 for UCR students and $560 for non-students. 6 spots available. E-learning codes will be sent after signup and must be completed before the first meeting day.
