Join us for two separate presentations, in partnership with the UCR Division of Biomedical Sciences. 

The first, “What is Our Body’s Natural Cannabis? A Tour of Cannabinoid Research at UCR” will look at our body’s natural endocannabinoid system and how it is affected by the chemicals in cannabis. Speaker is Dr. Nicholas V. DiPatrizio, associate professor of biomedical sciences and director of the UCR Center for Cannabinoid Research.

The second, “Targeted Anti-Cancer Treatments from Academic Research,” will dive into recent oncology-targeting strategies. Speaker is Dr. Maurizio Pellecchia, professor of biomedical sciences, Daniel Hays Endowed Chair in Cancer Research, and director of the Center for Molecular and Translational Medicine.
