About this Event
Instructor: Swati B.
Description: Publishing in open access journals is gradually becoming a practice among researchers. The benefit of open access journals is that users can access them free of cost and hence an article published in such a journal can reach readers from any part of the world almost instantaneously. There are however, some open access journals which are known as predatory journals. As a researcher you should be aware of those journals and take an informed decision on publishing in an open access journal. In this session, we will discuss what are questionable publication practices and how one can identify a predatory journal.
