Queer Alliance invites area high school students and junior high/middle school students to the 18th Annual Pride Prom. This QA Youth Outreach Event provides a safe space for a fabulous evening of music, dancing, food, and fun. Dress for comfort, or dress to impress. A photo booth is on-site and refreshments provided.

Parents, teachers, and allies also welcome. Please arrive by 7pm for the required presentation and panel before the dance begins. Pride Prom will be held at the UCR Alumni & Visitors Center, which includes both indoor and outdoor spaces.

This is a non-alcoholic and non-smoking event.

Important information:

Please arrive by 7 pm for a required workshop about "Getting Into College." The music will start promptly at 8:00 p.m. The dance ends at 10:00 p.m.

All attendees must sign a Liability Waiver. If you are under 18, your parent/guardian must sign. Download the form from the LGBTRC web site - click here for the waiver PDF.

Parking is FREE in Lot 24. Tell the parking lot attendant you are attending Pride Prom, and you will be directed to park in Lot 24. Those arriving late must pay at the Lot 24 permit dispenser.

Masking:
After April 11, 2022, the use of face coverings indoors will continue to be strongly recommended for all individuals who are up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations and mandatory as required. Learn more. 

This event is only open to students in High School or Junior High/Middle School, parents/guardians, and educator staff. The only college students in attendance are UCR student volunteers.
