This event in partnership with the UCR Division of Biomedical Sciences features two presentations:

“Promoting Lifelong Brain Health — It’s Not All in Your Genes” will look at how our life exposures and life choices influence our relative risk and the likely progression of disorders. Speaker will be Dr. Monica J. Carson, professor, chair of Biomedical Sciences and director of the Center for Glial-Neuronal Interactions.

The second, “Catalyzing Change: Advancing Health and Biotech Frontiers Through RNA Research at UCR,” will look at how RNA has the potential to revolutionize healthcare. Speaker will be Dr. Sika Zheng, professor of Biomedical Sciences and director of the Center for RNA Biology and Medicine.
