About this Event
The UCR Brain Game Center for Mental Fitness and Well-being is a unique center on campus focusing on harnessing modern technologies to understand and improve brain fitness. We have numerous opportunities for participation as a research subject or as a research assistant. Please see below for opportunities:
TRY OUR SOFTWARE BY PARTICIPATING IN OUR FULLY ONLINE OR IN-PERSON STUDIES
We are recruiting students for several studies that can be done at home remotely or in the lab at the start of each quarter!
Our studies involve playing video games on an iPad, Android device, or computer and are designed to test and/or improve various cognitive and perceptual abilities! Our games combine many principles that individually lead to perceptual and cognitive improvements, however, we do not know the exact contribution of each component. Your participation will help us improve our games and determine how different principles contribute to better cognitive function, as well as identify which aspects are more engaging!
Both remote and in lab studies may last only 1 day or others up to 8 weeks. Most studies provide monetary incentives with greater compensation for longer studies.
If you are interested in participating in one of our studies, please complete a short survey linked below. We will contact you in a follow-up email with specific study details once we receive this information.
