Most people have at some point been subjected to unexpected behavior that is unwelcome, such as behavior that is aggressive, lewd, provocative or socially inappropriate. In many of these instances our ability to respond effectively is often compromised because of fear, confusion and/or inexperience in addressing unwanted behaviors. This course examines the nature of unwelcome behavior, as well as how and why we respond the way we do, and offers insights into how we can be prepared to effectively respond in the future when confronted with unwelcome behaviors.
