The Latin Dance Social Event & Workshop Series highlights the Latin-Afro Diaspora and histories with movement workshops in Afro-Brazilian, Salsa, Mambo, Bachata, Quebradita, and Lindy Hop dance, culminating in a Social Dance Event with special performances and communal social dancing.
Please join Professor Patricia "Patty" Huerta and the Latin American Social Dance classes for this year’s Latin Dance Social Event & Workshop Series! With special guest artists Eder Avila, Lupita Limón-Burbaj, Dr. Irvin Manuel Gonzalez, Rachel Hernandez, and Javier “Javi” Mata with dance partner josé rivers alfaro with music by the talented Vince "inVINCEable" Torres. The Latin Dance Social Event & Workshop Series is an invitation to connect to our bodies, to the Latin and Afro Diaspora, to the powerful rhythms and sounds, and communally.
Special performances by guest artists and the Latin American Social Dances -Ladies Styling Collective- directed and choreographed by professor Patricia "Patty" Huerta.
ALL bodies and ALL level movers welcomed! Come as you are, come move, and engage in collective joy.

Workshops - Complimentary parking will be available in Lot 1.

Latin Social Event - Paid permits will not be required in select lots after 6:00pm.
