Course dates: April 26 (11am-2pm classroom and 2:30-6:30pm pool); April 27 (3-9pm pool); May 3 (8am-1pm beach dives - Laguna Beach); May 4 (7am-5pm boat dives - Long Beach). Must attend all sessions to receive certification.

Lose yourself in the peaceful silence of the ocean, explore new sights, and make new friends and dive buddies! Includes pre-class e-learning course, dive logbook app, classroom review sessions, pool sessions, 3 boat dives at Catalina Island, a beach dive, and gear. Transportation is not included, but carpooling is encouraged. You must be able to attend all sessions to sign up for this certification. A 200m swim and a ten minute treading water or float test will be given during the class. E-learning codes will be sent after signup and must be completed before the first meeting day.
Course cost is $525 for UCR students and $570 for non-students. Registration open March 19-April 21.
