Ashley Nicole Díaz is a Xicanx Poeta from the Borderlands of Calexico, Ca & Mexicali, B.C. Mexico and recent UCR Alumni. Díaz has self-published three literary zines, "Con la Luna en la Cabeza", "Mis Noches sin tus Días", and "Poemas Cortavenas". Some of her inspiration comes from her family stories, her community, and love experiences. As a current Dual Language Emergent Elementary Tutor, her goal is to re-imagine storytelling with her students to remind them of their power and magia as carriers and creators of knowledge.
