BIOGRAPHIES

Shawn Wang, double bassist, is a fourth-year student at UCR who has been playing the double bass for nine years, as well as the piano for ten years. He will be performing a recital featuring a variety of compositions and styles from the Baroque era to modern contemporary. Shawn is a student of Spencer Baldwin.

Brandon Reyes-Castellanos studies guitar under Robert Scarano. His senior recital performance features a variety of jazz standards, as well as original pieces that he composed while working with Mr. Scarano. After graduating UCR, he plans on pursuing a career as a session guitarist. 

Alexander Aguirre is a fourth-year baritone at UC Riverside currently studying under Dr. Ralph Cato. His recital will be feature two sets of French chansons by Jacques Ibert and Maurice Ravel, along with music by Strauss, Mozart, and Vaughan Williams. Alex is also a member of the Chamber Singers.
