Senryu Taiko proudly presents their 16th Annual Spring Concert: “Soredemo”!

 

Soredemo, meaning “but even so”, represents Senryu’s will to bravely push through any challenges they face. With love and support from the taiko community, Senryu members join together to turn the tide on past struggles and confidently create their own waves. While Soredemo is an incomplete phrase by itself, it serves as a reminder of the many possibilities waiting ahead.

 

Making noise since 1998, Senryu Taiko is a traditional Japanese drumming group founded in the University of California, Riverside. Self-taught and self-sustained, the club continues the tradition of kumidaiko by writing music together, teaching incoming members, and forming ties with other taiko groups across the nation.
