The implementation of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) as part of the UC Cybersecurity Mandate has brought up questions, particularly concerning its impact on academic work and privacy. To directly address these important considerations, the University of California Office of the President (UCOP) is hosting a webinar featuring three faculty guest speakers with expertise in cybersecurity and digital privacy:
Professors Joseph, Savage, and Vigna will speak directly to concerns about the impact of EDR on scholarly work.

This session is hosted by Van Williams, UC Vice President of IT, and moderated by Monte Ratzlaff, UC Systemwide Chief Information Security Officer. They welcome your questions during and after the event. Common questions will be incorporated into the existing FAQ.
