The SRC Aquatics Team and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority are proud to announce our first swim safety clinic! Join us for some fun in the sun and an opportunity for your child to learn some water safety skills. Please read the description of each clinic below before registering your child.

Guppy (WS1)

Designed for children with no prior water experience, the Guppy class emphasizes essential water safety skills. Children will learn how to float on their backs, crawl along the poolside, and develop basic kicking techniques.

Minnows (WS2)

For children with some water experience, the Minnow clinic focuses on safety and basic swimming skills. Participants will practice floating, kicking, submerging in shallow water, and using their arms to move through deeper water.

Shark (WS3)

The Shark clinic is tailored for children with significant water experience. The class enhances skills such as back floating, freestyle/front crawl, and safely jumping into the water and floating back up.

Children's Swim Lesson Policies:

-The UCR SRC requires all parents/caregivers to remain at the pool during a child's swim lessons.

-The UCR SRC does not allow for make-up lessons unless a class cancellation is made by them.

-The UCR SRC reserves the right to cancel any program and to change fees where applicable.

-Participants must adhere to UCR SRC pool rules, policies and procedures.
