We are very excited to announce that New Head Coach Mike Magpayo and the Mens’ Basketball Team are bringing back Summer Camps for kids of all ages in June and July! Mike Magpayo Basketball Camps at the University of California Riverside are dedicated to providing a basketball camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn.

Coach Mike Magpayo has coached around the country for over a decade and in his first year as Head Coach at UCR, he received the Joe B. Hall Award that is given to the top first-year head coach in Division 1 college basketball!

We are looking to make the camps fun, as well as teach all kids the fundamentals every young player should learn. We will do it in an enthusiastic environment, and also have competitions where the kids will play against other kids of like size or age. Should be a great learning experience for all kids. You will be coached by the UC Riverside Staff and get the opportunity to work with the UC Riverside Men’s Basketball Players.

The coaching staff here at UC Riverside prides itself on teaching the sport of basketball to players of all ages and ability levels.
