How about a pot of tea!? Calling all Black ladies to join in the first event Tea Time to kick off your academic year. Black Tea Houses were deeply rooted in the history of the Black community which our ancestors evolved into a symbol of community and giving.

Tea Time is a place for young ladies to build a community, learn, and grow. On September 24th from 10 AM to 3 PM in African Student Programs, we are hosting Tea Time for Black ladies who are first-year and transfer scholars. Ladies will have the opportunity to connect with the professional staff and upperclassmen to talk about life on campus and how to create expectations. Come out and learn what it takes to be successful in your first year on campus with other Black ladies on campus. Food will be provided. RSVP is required for all in attendance.
