When people visit the desert, the first thing they say is how bright the desert is and how gorgeous the light is. Artists have been coming to the desert to create for decades, from Winston Churchill and Agnes Pelton to the rest of us. Tea Time with Terry will be showing art by local artists that explore the beauty of the desert in all of its light and shadows. We will also be highlighting public art and Covid-safe art journeys you can take in your car to see art across the Coachella Valley. Guests include local painters Carrie Graber and Danny Heller as well as New York artist David Seif, a graduate of Chicago Institute of Art and who taught our collage class last November.
