UCR Orchestra, conducted by Ruth Charloff, welcomes faculty pianist Todd Moellenberg in Mozart's dramatic, radiant Piano Concerto in C minor. Also on the program: Copland's rousing Outdoor Overture; passionate, Spanish-flavored music from Bizet's legendary Carmen; Moncayo's vibrant Huapango celebrating music and dance from Veracruz, Mexico; and the lyrical Rhosymedre led by student conductor Chris Shimoon.
