At UCR Advocacy Day alumni, parents and friends meet in small groups with elected officials to discuss issues affecting higher education and UCR in particular. No other group within the University community - faculty, administrators or students - is as effective as alumni and parents in reaching public officials and promoting the needs of UCR.
