UCR Department of Dance
A site-based outside Installation Performance
Ximena Garnica, Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Dance
February 27, 2019
2:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Free and open to campus
The multi-part installation consists of a series of kinetic string-sculptures powered by performers, interspersed with other site-based performances around the Arts building complex. The work allows for multiple interplays between the environment, the materials of the body, and the sculpture. Performed by students of the DNCE180J studio lab course and members of the LEIMAY Ensemble.
