UCR Jazz Ensembles

The UC Riverside Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo are excited to welcome special guest artist Alan Ferber for their March 9th winter concert. 

The three-time GRAMMY-nominated trombonist/composer/arranger/educator has performed with a broad spectrum of artists from Dr. Dre to Dr. Lonnie Smith. An abbreviated list of his performance credits also includes pop artists Paul Simon and Peter Gabriel, jazz artists Lee Konitz and Esperanza Spaulding, and many others.

The UCR Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will be performing 10 of Ferber’s original compositions and arrangements from several of his GRAMMY-nominated albums.
