Specially featured is music by two celebrated young composers of today: "TaRaKiTa" by the Los-Angeles-based Indian-American composer Reena Esmail, and the gorgeous, gospel-tinged "Sanctus" by African-American composer Carlos Simon. Baritone RALPH CATO is our special guest artist, performing songs by Ned Rorem, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. ABE FABELLA joins us at the piano. Ruth Charloff conducts.
