untitled land project: an open sharing

Created and performed by Justin Morris in collaboration with Sur Sanford and Kevin Wong
Dance MFA Candidate in Experimental Choreography

Sage Ni’Ja Whitson, Dance MFA Committee Chair

Untitled land project is a multi-site iterative open practice taking place over a 3-week period that unearths the connection between home and land. This live practice invites practitioners and witnesses alike to revel in the messiness, liminal possibilities, worlds , and sites that are created/remade when finality and located-ness are unsettled. This practice uses improvisational scores and iterative play to move within, map, and move beyond boundaries, borders, demarcations, and linear time.

This work is presented by the University of California, Riverside, Department of Dance and created in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Fine Arts degree in Experimental Choreography.
