Version Control is the way to track revisions of a document, dataset, or process.

Are you interested in learning version control (also known as source control) with Git using an asynchronous, Carpentry style workshop in Canvas? This workshop will present options available to track and recover changes to different types of files, and provide hands-on experience to version control using Git.

Complete approximately 3 hours of activities at your own pace by the end of Spring quarter using tutorials with the help of on of UCR librarians. Certificate of completion of completion is available upon request. RSVP with Eventbrite with your UCR email address to be added to the Canvas course.
