Kate Mosher Hall’s paintings aim to “create space” and cultivate a special kind of “openendedness.” Often combining figurative and obfuscated elements, her images hint at narrative structure, only to stymie pat interpretation and closed meaning.

Kate Mosher Hall (b.1986) lives and works in Los Angeles. She received her MFA from UCLA. Recent solo exhibitions include Never Odd or Even at Hannah Hoffman, Los Angeles (2024), Big View, Miguel Abreu, New York (2023), The Reminder, Audain Gallery, Vancouver BC (2023), Offset at Tanya Leighton, Berlin (2021), Without a body, without Bill at Hannah Hoffman Gallery, Los Angeles (2021)
