The Art History Graduate Student Association Conference presents original research from graduate students across the disciplines that deal with visual and material culture, in conjunction with a keynote address delivered by Dr. C Ondine Chavoya, Professor of Art and Latina/o Studies at Williams College. A cornerstone event of our community, the goal is to generate dialogue on compelling topics related to the creation, mobilization, theorization, and historicization of the arts, broadly defined.

We invite you to browse our website for more information on the 2022 conference — Visualizing Love and Death Across Cultures — as well as past conferences.

Support for this event has been generously provided by the Departments of: Art History, Anthropology, History, Art, Religious Studies, English, Philosophy, Sociology, Creative Writing, Hispanic Studies, UCR GSA, UCR Arts, Center for Ideas & Societies
