PALM DESERT, CA — UCR Palm Desert is proud to announce the first Annual Wild Coachella Day, a celebration of native plants and wildlife.

This family-friendly event is a spinoff of our popular Wild Coachella Lecture Series, which examines the fascinating natural world of the Coachella Valley. This event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 and will be held both indoors and outdoors at the UCR Palm Desert Center, 75080 Frank Sinatra Drive. 

Attendees can enjoy brief talks and hands-on demonstrations on a wide variety of topics: Insects, landscaping with native plants, sustainable building materials, backyard bird habitats, and more! Plus booths from local organizations, food vendors, giveaways, and a lot of inspiration.
