About this Event
North American deserts are warming and becoming increasingly arid at a rate far exceeding global averages. In climates already thought to be extreme, what does that portend for iconic desert creatures such as horned lizards?
During this Wild Coachella talk, Dr. Cameron Barrows will take a look at the impacts of climate change as well as invasive plant species and show how three species of horned lizards are responding to the levels of habitat change, urbanization, and invasive weeds that they have experienced so far.
