About this Event
View mapWhat: The Computer Science and Engineering Department and XCITE invite faculty to an important series for a better future. Everyone has a role to play to increase the number of women in computing careers. Take advantage of this monthly opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues in one-hour lunch and learn sessions about strategies for increasing women in the engineering profession.
Only 14-17% of computing graduates are women. Computer Science and Engineering at UCR has new resources and a new initiative to increase that number by 10% over the next six years. Faculty and TA staff of the UCR engineering community are invited to join the conversation to develop successful measures for reaching this goal.
Grab ‘n Go lunch will be provided for those who indicate in-person attendance.
