Chess Academy after-school program ignites young minds with a passion for discovery, logical thinking and creativity. Through hands-on chess curriculum and creative challenges, students delve into the fascinating world of chess. Designed to be fun, engaging and educational, the program fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork as students tackle game strategy, openings and rules. From targeted chess moves curriculum to progressive thinking, every session is an opportunity for progression and development. As students collaborate and experiment, they develop a deeper appreciation for the beautiful game that is chess. Mondays 4pm-6pm. No Presidents Day Feb 17 or MLK Day Jan 19.
